UWRS has had the privilege of serving as the campus architect for University School for over more than 16 years. We have provided master planning services for three completed additions and renovations. Our most recent project was the completion of the Our Common Bond campaign which included a new dining commons, food service area, theater expansion, and makerspace. We are currently working on the school’s athletics master plan for a new baseball field, practice fields, and concessions building.

Phase I
The addition to the upper school includes a 33,000-square-foot science wing, a multipurpose assembly hall, and the expansion of the fitness center. Renovations to the existing ice arena include new locker rooms, restrooms, and concessions area.

Phase II
A 45,000-square-foot lower school addition includes classroom space, a gymnasium and interior remodeling of the middle school, and pre-primary classrooms.

Athletic Updates
The complete renovation of the stadium encompasses track, grandstands, football and field hockey fields with new turf fields, and scoreboards, and the design of the entrance gates, donor recognition, and way-finding signage. A 1,600-square-foot addition was also constructed to their ice arena dedicated for shooting practice, complete with a synthetic ice surface and dasher boards.

Our Common Bond
80,000 square feet of renovations and new construction house a new dining commons, expanded kitchen, expanded theater, art gallery and classroom spaces and innovation space.
